Description
Take Care Health Systems is currently seeking a Full time Medical Assistant to join our Team in Franklin Lakes, NJ .

Responsibilities include both front and clinical duties -- percentage is 50/50. The successful incumbent will:

Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill or injured client employees as directed by a physician, advanced practitioner, or registered nurse.
Interview patients to determine medical problem/condition and document in the patients record.
Obtain and records patients vital signs and weight.
Assist physician or other practitioner with patient examination, as needed.
Administer specified medication as directed.
Provide support to the operations of the health center by maintaining medical equipment, keeping exam rooms properly supplied and ready for patients. 
Interact with patients and other physician offices to assist with follow up, appointments, questions, etc.

Requirements
Requirements:  

Certification and proficiency in phlebotomy and performing EKG’s 
Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook required
Flexible, self-motivated, dedicated to quality patient care and customer satisfaction
Excellent communication skills and work effectively in a team environment
High School diploma or equivalent
Proof of MA training/certification
At least one year of clinical experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
Current Certification in Basic Life Support is required
