Description
We are seeking a Full-time Registrar for our new Health Center in Chicago, IL.

Take Care Health Systems , the platform of Walgreens Health and Wellness division, is an innovative organization that provides the American workforce with the benefits of improved wellness and preventive care. We operate on-site employee health centers, pharmacies and fitness centers for many of the country’s largest corporations and federal agencies.

Responsibilities include:

Greet, register patients in/out of the office, and collect co-pays if applicable
Assist with patient billing, when necessary
Confirm/cancel appointments via the scheduling software
Answer phones, fax, and all other necessary clerical work as assigned.
While working at this employer site, you will have the ability to get to know your patients, while helping to improve their health status and taking care of their immediate health needs.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

2-3 years of previous medical office experience is required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, medical terminology, and computers.
